Applicants for either type of membership are requested to complete our Application Form and return to the Secretariat complete with supporting documentation where requested.

Requirements for Full Membership

Every Member shall fulfil each of the following qualifications:

1. Shall have engaged in the class of work from which his membership derives for at least five years prior to his application for membership, always provided that the Board may waive this clause in exceptional circumstances.
2. Shall operate and maintain an organisation suitably equipped for the services from which his membership derives and as may from time to time be specified by the Association and employ adequate staff trained and skilled in all classes of work of which his membership demands.
3. Shall communicate with the Secretariat and Members of the Association effectively.

Requirements for Affiliate Membership

I.S.E.S. Association welcomes applications for Affiliate Membership from any certified suppliers of equipment or materials in the electrical, mechanical, electronic or other equipment specialised in the maritime industry.

Requirements for User Associate Membership

I.S.E.S. Association welcomes applications for User Associate Membership from shipping companies (ship owner / ship-manager / ship-operator) operating within the shipping industry.
