Alphatron Marine BV of Rotterdam was founded in 1989 and currently employs about 160 people. The company is privately owned and has a flexible approach to both manufacturers and customers. A fully auto cad supported engineering team takes care of all new building projects and the day-to-day installation work in the field of navigation and communication equipment. In the past years Alphatron Marine has fitted over 475 seagoing new building vessels.
Besides the representation of major manufacturers like JRC, Sailor and Yokogawa, Alphatron also produces a full range of complementary products like Gyrocompasses, Autopilots, Marine instruments as well as Marine PABX and PA systems all marked under the product name Alphaline. For river navigation, a full product line of rate of turn autopilots, rate of turn indicators, shallow water echo sounders, river radars, etcetera is offered. For Deep-sea applications the product range includes the unique modular Alphabridge console concept and for special applications the versatile Alphapos IVCS DP system is available. Mega yachts who require complete one-off bridge systems are also included in our long list of reoccurring customers.
Alphatron Marine is located in the port of Rotterdam, Flushing, Harlingen, Antwerp, Singapore, Gdynia, Stettin, Rostock and Hamburg. From the headquarters in Rotterdam, it is only a short distance to the harbour of Amsterdam and IJmuiden to carry out official service requirements, off-shore surveys, radio surveys etc.
