1963
The International Ship Electrical and Engineering Service Association, I.S.E.S., was formed in 1963 with the objective to create an independent, united, high quality marine service network to serve international ship owners, managers and operators.
1990 & 1993
The Association Bye-Laws had a few modifications in the wording in 1990 and 1993 which were approved at the 30th Annual General Meeting on the 13th of May 1990 and 6th of May 1993 respectively.
1996
On the 1st March, 1996, the Association changed it’s name from International Ship Electric Service Association (I.S.E.S.) Ltd to International Ship Electrical and Engineering Service Association (I.S.E.S.) Ltd, thus enabling it to broaden its base of activities. It also included one new category of member. The Affiliate member, open to manufacturers of Marine Equipment.
2016
On the 3rd of June 2016, the name was changed again to International Ship Engineering Service (I.S.E.S) Ltd Association and a third category of member was added. The User Associate Member, and is open to Ship-Owners / Ship-Managers-Ship-Operators willing to use ISES members and to receive updated “ONE STOP SHOP”information.
